Sd Kfz 135 7.5cm Pak40 auf Lorraine Schlepper (f)
After the fall of France in 1940, the Germans made use of most of the captured equipment they had inherited.
The Lorraine 37L chassis was converted in 1942 to carry the 7.5cm Pak40, the 10.5cm leFH18 guns and the 15cm sFH13/1 with the remainder being used as ammunition carriers and artillery tractors. In German service they were designated Sd Kfz 135. There were 170 of the 7.5cm Panzerjäger version, depicted here, known later as the Marder I.
