Magirus M206 Light Truck with Canopy

The Magirus M206 was developed in 1933 to provide a 1½ ton six wheeled cross country truck to supplement production by Büssing-NAG and Daimler-Benz. They were supplied to the Wehrmacht and Reichswehr. It had a 4,562cc Magirus S88 6-cylinder engine capable producing 70hp with a maximum road speed of 62 km/hr.

Between 1934 and 1938, 1,080 vehicles were built with an additional 10 chassis for fire fighting vehicles. The M206a chassis was developed and used for six wheeled armoured cars.
