Ford V-8 1½ ton Stake Truck Model 1937
By 1936 the Ford Model BB truck was being phased out and replaced with a more modern design which included a more curved grille, skirted mudguards and a sloped windscreen. At the same time, all pick ups and trucks were being fitted with the V-8 flathead engine.
The stake truck was a 1½ ton truck produced in 1937 by Ford in the US that was a flatbed truck with sockets along the side of the flatbed allowing upright stakes to be fitted converting the flatbed into an effective cargo truck.
