By 1941 there were still 800 Panzer I in service. Soon after they were reallocated for training or converted to self-propelled gun carriages. This Flakpanzer I mounts a 2cm Flak30 gun although this was not an official variant. Most Flakpanzer I were converted in the field and were largely used on the Eastern Front.
