sWS with 3,7cm Flak43 and Sd Ah 58 Ammo Trailer

The Schwerer Wehrmachtschlepper (or sWS) was a German Cargo half track used for towing large artillery pieces. Early models had a truck like cab similar to the Sd Kfz 7 design. However later models had an armoured front very like the Sd Kfz 251 half track. The sWS was also used to mount the 3.7cm Flak43 which was placed on a turret with a gun shield on the rear deck. The Flak 43 was lighter than the British Bofors, fired faster and could be set up in a smaller space.
