152mm m.1935 Br-2 Soviet Heavy Gun
The 152mm m.1935 Br-2 was a Russian heavy gun produced in Stalingrad during the 1930s notable for its distinctive tracked carriage.
The Br-2 was developed by combining the 152mm barrel of the Br-10 gun with the tracked carriage of the 203mm howitzer m.1931 (B-4). The Br-2 suffered from a short barrel life where the muzzle velocity decreased after only 100 rounds. This was partly resolved by increasing the rifling of the barrel.
