The Czech LT-38 was one of the most successful products of the pre-war Czech armaments industry. When the Germans took over in 1939 the Germans redesignated the vehicle Panzer 38(t). Mounting a Skoda 37mm A7 gun and a 7.92mm MG, the Panzer 38(t) was taken out of frontline service in 1942. The Pz Bef Wg 38(t) Ausf C was a standard Pz Kpfw 38(t) Ausf C converted to a command role with a rear mounted aerial mast.
