Humber Mk II Armoured Car (RV3289)

Produced by the Rootes Group (Karrier) and based on the Karrier KT 4 artillery tractor with the armoured body of the Guy armoured car, the first 500 rolled off production lines in 1941. The Mk I was armed with one 15mm BESA and one 7.92mm BESA machine gun. It carried a crew of three, - a driver, a gunner and a commander and used a Rootes 6 cylinder petrol engine producing 90hp. The Mk II saw some improvements to the turret and armour but the armament remained the same.
