The kit includes 16 figures moulded in light blue plastic in 16 poses and two field kitchens moulded in light brown plastic. The figures are involved in a number of different tasks including chopping wood, peeling potatoes, carrying a pot, serving soup, holding a mess tin, carrying loaves of bread, eating from a mess tin, drinking, sitting and eating and sitting and smoking. The two field kitchens each include a wheeled wagon, a tripod with a hanging stock pot and a trestle table.
