The Ural-375D was a general purpose 4.5ton off road 6x6 truck, produced at the Ural Automotive Plant in Russia since 1961. The Ural-375D was also used as a mount for the BM-21 "Grad" Rocket Launcher which was developed in the early 1960s. This mounted 40 launch tubes on the truck each armed with a 122mm rocket. The launcher tubes are arranged in a rectangle and can be turned away from the cab which is unprotected.
