The Scammell Pioneer R100 was a British heavy truck used as an artillery tractor for medium and heavy artillery. The R100 was also the basis for the Heavy Breakdown 6x4 Scammell Pioneer designated the SV/1S and SV/1T both with a folding 3 ton crane. Most were lost in France. Equipment included a pair of tracks that fitted over the rear wheels to convert it to a half track and provide greater traction on soft ground.
