BT-7 Armoured Personnel Carrier

The BT-7 Armoured Personnel Carrier was developed in 1934 and was designed to carry 9 soldiers when the vehicle was armed with two DT light machine guns or 6 soldiers when fitted with two heavy machine guns. Two of the soldiers would act as driver and commander. The hull was fitted with firing embrasures so that small arms could also be used. There is very little information available on this variant. It may be that it never progresssed beyond the design stage.
