Utilising the Pz Kpfw 38(t) chassis, this variant attempted to fit a Pz Kpfw IV turret and 75mm KwK40 L/48 gun with the reliable Czech chassis to provide a tank based on the reliable Hetzer tank destroyer. However, the extra weight was a problem for the size of the engine. As a result, the cupola and turret doors were removed to lighten the vehicle as well as reducing the crew by one man. Ultimately, this design never progressed beyond the drawing board and the prototype was never built.
