The Unimog U1300L is a medium utility truck produced by Mercedes for the German Bundeswehr and German fire department. Designed as off road vehicles they have high ground clearance and a flexible frame allowing the wheels a wide range of vertical movement allowing the truck to negotiate uneven terrain. Over 30,700 Unimog vehicles have been produced between 1975 to 1993 across eight different variants. This kit depicts a U1300L in service as an ambulance.
