Rheintochter-1 Missile on E-50 Chassis

A superb example of the E-50 that was designed to be a standard medium tank to replace the Panther and Tiger I but never quite entered service. The E-50 chassis was also planned to be used in a number of other roles including as a mobile launching platform for Hitler's veangence weapons. The Rheintochter-1 was developed from 1942 by Rheinmetall-Borsig as a surface-to-air missile. It carried a 300lb (136kg) warhead and was a multi stage solid fuel rocket.
