Pz Kpfw II Ausf L "Luchs"

The Ausf L "Luchs" (Lynx) was produced from September 1943 to January 1944 and was designated Sd Kfz 123. MAN developed the chassis and Daimler Benz the superstucture and turret. It was armed with a 2cm KwK38 L/55 and one 7.92mm MG34 and crewed by 4 men. A later version, the Leopard, was to be armed with a 5cm KwK 39/1 L/60 but the project was cancelled in January 1943 after 104 vehicles were produced. The Ausf L served with the 4th Panzer Division and the 9th Panzer Division
