Type 94 TK Japanese Tankette

The Type 94 TK was a Japanese tankette designed for reconnaissance. It was crewed by two men and was armed with a 6.5mm Type 91 machine gun. However, it was thinly armoured (8-12mm) and as a result could be penetrated by 0.5cal machine gun fire. The Type 94 entered service in 1935. In addition to reconnaissance, it was also used as a light tractor for pulling ammunition trailers providing support for infantry units. They remained in service until 1945.
