JS-4 Stalin

The JS-4 Stalin was a further development of the successful JS-2 which had an elongated hull and an extra set of road wheels fitted along with a more powerful engine. The hull and turret armoured were increased although the JS-4 retained the JS-2's 122mm D-25T gun. Only 250 were built between 1947 and 1949. Due to disappointing performance, further production was cancelled. Most JS-4 served on Russia's far east.
