Type 94 TK Japanese Tankette With 37mm

The Type 94 TK was a Japanese tankette designed for reconnaissance. It was crewed by two men and was armed with a 6.5mm Type 91 machine gun. In 1936 the Type 94 TK was modified by lowering the rear idler wheel to ground level. This stopped the vehicle from pitching due to its previous short wheel base. The greater stability allowed for the fitting of a 37mm main gun which would be a feature of its successor, the Type 97 Te-Ke.
