M1114 HMMWV Up-Armoured

The M1114 HMMWV Up-Armoured is a US High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle. It entered service in 1989 during the US invasion of Panama and was designed mainly for personnel and light cargo. Later was added both as supplied kits and improvised in the field. The M1114 provides protection against 76.2mm AP shells, 155mm artillery air bursts and 12lb anti tank mine blasts. It also features Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station (CROWS) allowing the gunner to operate from inside the vehicle
