Stridsvagn M/39 Swedish Light Tank

Originally developed as the Stridsvagn L-60 in 1934, the tank went through a number of variants, the L-60A to L-60D before it evolved into the L-60 S for the Swedish Army. The L-60 S/II was known as the Stridsvagn M/39. The tank was developed by AB Landsverk and featured a number of designs subsequently incorporated into German and Russian tank design including torison bar suspension, periscopes and an all welded hull. The M/39 mounted a 37mm gun and a 7.92mm Madsen MG with a crew of 3.
