Renault Unic TU-1 Half Track

Between 1939 and 1940 there were 236 Unic TU-1 half tracks built by the French. They were designed as light artillery tractors for towing the 25mm Hotchkiss anti tank gun and as a supply and ammunition tractor. Following the Fall of France, the Germans used the half tracks in both Europe and in North Africa for towing light artillery as well as training vehicles. In German service they were designated Zugkraftwagen U.305(f). They had a payload capacity of 475kg. Kit is cast in white metal.
