Based on the British WWI Austin Armoured Car, the Austin-Putilov was a Russian variant manufactured in St Petersburg between 1918 and 1920 having been delayed by the Revolution in 1917. They had diagonally placed MG turrets to narrow the vehicle and an additional right side door. The MG mounts also had improved elevation.
