25mm Hotchkiss Anti Tank Gun S.A. Mle 1934

In 1926 Hotchkiss designed a 25mm anti tank gun that was accepted for service in 1934. By the start of WWII, it was the main anti tank gun in use with the French infantry. It was also used by the British Expaditionary Forces in 1940 as there were too few British QF 2 Pounder Anti tank guns available. Following the French campaign of 1940, captured guns were also pressed into service as the 2.5cm Pak 112(f) as well as with the Italians in North Africa.
