A13 Mk1 Cruiser Tank

The A13 MK 1 was also known as the Cruiser MK III and was the first British tank to employ Christie suspension, Crewed by 4 men the A13 MK 1 was armed with a 2 pounder and had armour of 6-14mm. By 1941 the 2 pounder was proving ineffective against German armour and lacked the ability to fire HE shells. A13 Mk 1 served with the BEF in France in 1940 with most being lost. Some that servived were subsequently used in Greece and North Africa in 1940-41.
