Type 95 "Ha-Go" Light Tank (Early Production)

Designed in 1935 and developed by Misubishi Heavy Industries, the Type 95 Ha-Go was a 7.4 tonne light tank with a crew of 3 - a commander, driver and hull machine gunner. Most Ha-Go were armed with a 37mm Type 98 gun which fired both armour piercing and high explosive. The Early Version had a 37mm Type 94 gun with a barrel length of 36.7 calibres and secondary armament of two 6.5mm Type 91 machine guns - one on the hull front and the other on the turret rear facing slightly to the side.
