M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer

The M36 Jackson US Tank Destroyer saw service late on in WWII as well as in subsequent conflicts such as Korea and Vietnam. The M36 was a heavily armed tank destroyer armed with the powerful 90mm gun. Based on the M10 chassis, the M36 required a larger turret to hold the bigger gun. Initial runs produced 500 of these vehicles which proved very effective in their role.
