The kit includes 4 WWI Italian 75mm Deport Guns. The Deport 75mm gun was a French design from 1912. Built in Italy in large numbers as the Cannone da 75/27 modello 11, it was used by Italy's alpine and cavalry troops in WWI. It was unusual in that it was the first artillery piece to adopt a split trail and the last to use its unique dual-recoil system. The gun remained in service with the Italians throughout WWI and into WWII. Many were pressed into service with by the Wehrmacht.
