LVT(A)-4

Used extensively in the Pacific theatre during WWII, the LVT 'Water Buffalo' was ideal for island hopping. In addition the Buffalo saw service with the British army in North West Europe being used to cross the Rhine and to assault flooded areas in the Netherlands. The LVT(A)-4 was further enhanced by mouting the 75mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M8 turret. Later versions also had two turret mounted 0.3 calibre M1919A4 machine guns
