F-86F / E(M) Sabre

The F-86 was developed in the late 1940s and was an adaptable front line fighter. Over 7,800 F-86 were produced between 1949 and 1956 where it served as the primary air-to-air jet fighter used in the Korean war against the Soviet built MiG-15. The F-86 could out turn the MiG-15 although the MiG-15 was superior in ceiling, acceleration, rate of climb at least until the introduction of the F-86F.
