Armoured Self Propoelled Rail Car D-37 with D-38 Turret

The D-37 Armoured Self Propelled Railroad Car was developed in 1933 as a scout car for armoured trains as well as railroad protection. The D-37 hull was welded from 6-12mm armoured plates and was powered by a 40hp Ford engine allowiung for the same speed both forward and backward. The D-37 had a crew of 6 and was armed with a 76mm (1927) gun and two DT machine guns inside a D-38 turret. Anti aircraft armament was provided by twin Maxim machine guns in the rear compartment.
