The Morris Commercial CS8 British 15cwt truck was based on the same chassis as the Morris Quad used to tow both 17 and 25 Pounders. The CS8 was a general service truck although was also used as a gun tractor. The Morris CS8 was produced between 1935 and 1944 and was used on all fronts. British Airborne forces used a cut down version for towing their 17 Pounder anti tank guns.
