De Havilland Mosquito NF.XIX/J.30

The Mosquito was a British twin engine multi role aircraft originally conceived as a fast unarmed bomber. With the bulk of the aircraft constructed from laminated plywood , the Mosquito was also known as the Wooden Wonder. The NF XIX/J.30 was a nightfighter varaint that could be fitted with British or American AI radar. Over 200 of this variant were built. These were used to destroy V1 bombers and concentrate attacks on German nightfighters. In 1948 NF XIX/J.30 were supplied to Sweden.
