M35 2.5ton Cargo Truck

The M35 Cargo Truck is the longest serving vehicles in the American Army. Still in service in the late 1990s, the M35 was introduced in the 1950 and could carry 5,000 lbs cross country or 10,000 lbs over roads. Weighing in at 2.5tons the truck became known as the Deuce and a half The M35 was armed and employed as gun trucks during the Vietnam war where they were covered with 1/4 armour plating, the floor was sandbagged and two M-60 machine guns were added.
