BTR-152V

The BTR-152 is a Soviet Armoured Personnel Carrier introduced in 1950. It had an open topped troop compartment in the rear with a front mounted engine. The BTR-152 was armed with a 7.62mm SGMB machine gun and had capacity for 2 crew and 18 soldiers. The BTR-152V variant was based on the ZIL-157 truck with an external tyre pressure regulation system. Some of the 152V variants had a front mounted winch and all had night vision equipment for the crew.
