A superb little model of the versatile German half track. The 251 was used throughout the war from 1939 right through to 1945 and saw service on all fronts. The 251 was the subject of many many variants from command vehicles to ambulances and even a platform for a rocket launcher. This kit is the later version of the basic 251/1 (with a sloped rear door and simplified lines) which was produced later in the war being cheaper and quicker to manufacture than the earlier variants.
