T-90MS Russian Main Battle Tank

The Russian T-90 is the latest evolution of the durable T-72 main battle tank. Introduced in 1993, it retains the low silhouette of the earlier Soviet tanks. The glacis is well sloped and coverd by KONTAKT-5 applique/ERA armour. The T-90 retains the 125mm 2A46 smoothbore main gun of the T-72 and T-80 and is capable of firing the Svir laser guided ATGM. The T-90MS (sometimes referred to as the T-90SM) is a modernised export version of the T-90.
