7.5cm Pak97/38 Anti Tank Gun (x2)

When the Germans were confronted with Russian tanks in 1941 it became apparent that contemporary anti tank guns were insufficient and, as a result, many captured guns were put into service. One such example was the French 75mm gun model 1897 where vast numbers had been captured the previous year. The barrels of these were re-mounted onto a modified Pak38 carriage. A cage-type muzzle brake was fitted to reduce the recoil stresses arising from the up-gunning of the carriage. Includes 2 guns.
