JagdTiger (Henschel)

Mounting a 128mm Pak44 L/55 gun and armour of 250mm, the Jagdtiger was the heaviest AFV to see service in World War 2. The prototype first appeared in 1944 and was designed as a limited traverse Tiger II. However at the late stage of the war with equipment limited some Jagdtigers were armed with the smaller 88mm Pak43/3 gun which was fitted in the Jagdpanther. The Jagdtiger was issued to two units and saw service in the Ardennes and later in the defence of Germany.
