BP42 Geschützwagen

The BP42 series of armoured trains increased their firepower by mounting four guns. Each artillery car mounted a 10cm leFH14/19(p) gun in a ten-sided rotating turret. Unlike Soviet and Polish armoured trains where cars carried two guns, the German armoured trains mounted only one each to reduce the risk of loss from direct hits. Each of these artillery cars were placed before and after the locomotive. This kit depicts the Artillery Car and includes four lengths of track for display.
