FWD Model B & BL 8" MK IV Howitzer

The Model B was produced by the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company, more commonly known as FWD. The US supplied 18,000 vehicle to Britain from 1914 onwards with the vehicles supplied with just the cab and chassis. The British then fitted different bodies to the vehicles which were mainly wooden. The BL 8" Mk VI was part of a series of British siege howitzers based on a mobile carriage and designed by Vickers. It was capable of firing a 200lb shell 12,300 yards.
