By combining the suspension of the T-24 with the Model V-2 diesel engine used in the T-34, KhPZ produced 1,123 Voroshivolets Heavy Artillery Tractors from 1939. The Voroshivolets had a crew of 2 with seating for 16 men or 3 tons of cargo. It was capable of towing 22 tons and was used as a prime mover for heavy artillery such as the B-4 203mm Tracked Howitzer and the Br-5 280mm tracked heavy mortar. As with all equipment, captured tractors were also used by the Germans.
