M7B2 "Priest" 105mm Howitzer Motor Carriage

The M7 "Priest" was originally based on the M3 Lee/Grant Chassis and mounted a 105mm M1A2 Howitzer. M7B2 was a Korean War variant and utilised old M7B1s based on the Sherman M4A3 chassis which had been introduced around September 1943. The limited howitzer elevation was addressed in the M7B2 where the elevation was increased to 65° to increase its range. This resulted in the MG pulput being raised to give it a 360° firing arc.
