Ford Model T Reconnaissance Car

Initially Henry Ford refused to allow his cars to be used by the military. However, he eventually changed his mind and the Ford Model T was used as a patrol and reconnaissance car. The British bought around 19,000 during WWI and fitted them with Lewis machine guns. In addition to being used in France they also saw service in Palestine, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Lybia.
