Rolls Royce Mk I Armoured Car 1920 Pattern

Developed in 1914 and based on the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost chassis, the Rolls Royce Armoured Car served until production stopped in 1917. The design was modernised in 1920 and 1924 producing the 1924 Pattern Rolls Royce Armoured Car. By the outbreak of WWII 76 vehicles were in service and were used up to operations in the Western Desert in North Africa serving latterly with the 11th Hussars. Crewed by 3 men the Rolls Royce was armed with a 0.303 Vickers Machine Gun
