The Hugarian 38M Toldi light tank was based on the 20mm armed Swedish L-60 light tank design by AB Lansdverk. It was named after a 14th Century Hungarian knight, Mikl�s Toldi. The Toldi was produced between 1939 and 1942 with 202 built in four variants. The Toldi I was the first variant and was armed with a 20mm gun. Eight Toldi I were produced. This was followed by 110 Toldi II which was armed with the same 20mm gun but carried thicker frontal armour.
