Airborne 6 Pounder Anti Tank Gun (x2)

More commonly known as the 6 Pounder this British 57mm Anti Tank gun was the primary British anti tank gun in the middle of WWII as well as being used on a number of tanks. The 6 Pounder first saw service in North Africa in 1942 replacing the earlier 2 Pounder anti tank gun. By the later stages in the war as 6 Pounders were replaced by 17 Pounders in anti tank units and allocated as six gun anti tank platoons attached to infantry divisions. The Mk3 was modified for use by airborne troops.
