25mm Hotchkiss Anti Tank Gun S.A.-L Mle 1937

In 1926 Hotchkiss designed a 25mm anti tank gun that was accepted for service in 1934. By the start of WWII, it was the main anti tank gun in use with the French infantry. A lighter version of the gun with some modification was accepted in 1937 designated the SA-L Mle 1937 It was also used by the BEF in 1940 as there were too few British QF 2 Pounder Anti tank guns available. Following the French campaign of 1940, captured guns were also pressed into service as the Pak 112(f).
