Daimler Mk II Armoured Car

The Daimler armoured car replaced the British Humber and was used extensively in the North Western Europe campain in 1944. Its design was a larger version of the Dingo. Armed with the British QF 2 pounder and a coaxial 7.92 Besa Machine gun. To improve the 2 pounder some were fitted with the Littlejohn adaptor which acted like a squeezebore and increased the guns penetrating ability. It had a crew of 3 with a top speed of 50mph and an operational range of 200 miles.
