wz.34 Armoured Car

The wz.34 started its life as a half track but was not popular with the crews. Redeveloped as a fully wheeled vehicle, the wz.34 was the basic armoured car of the Polish army at the start of WWII. The wz.34 was armed with either the 7.92mm Hotchkiss wz25 machine gun or the 37mm wz18 Puteaux L/21 gun. The 37mm dated from WWI so was mainly used for destroying soft targets rather than engaging enemy armour. Captured wz.34 were used by the Germans and Croatians in anti-partisan actions.
